About

Cesar Cueva is an artist, animator, illustrator, proud Filipino American, and self-described introvert. He is originally from Seattle, WA and currently lives in the Bay Area in California with his wonderful wife. Cesar studied American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington and Animation at Animation Mentor. He has worked in video games and media, but most of his work experience comes from the museum field, starting with Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum, then with the Exploratorium, and most recently at the Oakland Museum of California. Even though Cesar has worked mainly in visitor experiences, he always incorporated art and creativity into what he did, with a goal of eventually having a creative career. Cesar’s artwork and life has been inspired by many things, including but not limited to cartoons, video games, comic books, movies, Filipino American history, and issues surrounding social justice and equity.
