Cesar Cueva is an illustrator, cartoonist, designer, and artist. His artwork and life has been inspired by many things, including but not limited to cartoons, video games, comic books, movies, history, and issues surrounding social justice and equity. Cesar is the creator of the web-comic, Buhay, as well as a comic book artist and a freelance illustrator. He has created art for television, video games, non-profit organizations, and museums. In 2017, Cesar designed and illustrated the 2017 ASTC Conference Mural in San Jose, had his art shown at the Columbia City Gallery in Seattle, at the Emeryville Annual Art Exhibition, at the Rotten City Cultural District Gallery, and has designed banners that are displayed in Emeryville.  Cesar is originally from Seattle, WA, where he studied American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington. He later studied Animation at Animation Mentor. He currently lives in Emeryville, CA, where he is a graphic production artist and teaches at UC Berkeley.
